The Deal
Deadwood is a short horror film made by young people with learning disabilities from Gateshead College.
What's it About?
In a remote woodlands five strangers wake from a deep sleep with no recollection of each other or how they arrived there. As tensions rise members of the group begin to go missing - is there a killer on the loose and will any of them get out alive?
Did it end up on the Cutting Room Floor?
We are currently organising a Premiere to showcase the excellent film produced by the group.
Why was it great?
The whole team had a fantastic time on the production, running around in the mud and scaring each other to death.
Say What?
Dead wood and the whole LSC project were a great learning experience and gave us the opportunity to work with the same group for an extended length of time. The progression the young people made over the 6 months was astonishing and their final film was extremely well performed.
